Its because Rogers and Fido run GSM network. Telus and Bell run CDMA. Two different cell phone technologies.

hey, i just tried my friends W580i (and i'm getting one this week) The keys feel pretty sturdy. But if u have large fingers, the keys r kind of small. The keys don't really feel like they r attached. So I'm going with the 580i.
