Free Tibet Olympics Protest - Mount Everest


 
   

Edited video from 4/25/07 protest by free Tibet activists on Mount Everest. The footage was captured from a live satellite streaming video.Three Tibetan independence activists, including one Tibetan-American, were detained by Chinese authorities Wednesday after demonstrating at Mount Everest's main base camp in Tibet, unfurling a banner reading "One World, One Dream, Free Tibet 2008" in English, and "Free Tibet" written in Tibetan and Chinese.The protest was held on the eve of the International Olympic Committee's announcement of the final Beijing 2008 Olympic torch relay route and as a Chinese team of climbers prepared a trial ascent of the mountain with the Olympic torch. The activists are currently being detained by China, who is refusing to give them access to US consular services.

what the hack kind of world this people live in? Majority of the world don't pay attention to them. Mt. Everest is Himalayas, not everest, some cracker climbed the mountain and changed the name.

Human rights, funny! have you watched tv news for Georgia. An 12 years Georgia girl said their country start attack russia. What NBC did, they removed the sound out. So, nobody will know what that girl said. Did u call that "human right"?

"Young westerners who have a dream of peace and harmony in the world" should concern themselves with their own government. Deal with freeing Iraq and Afghanistan from your governments death grip before trying to separate a Chinese province.

If the US were to stop killing women and children and get out of Iraq and Afghanistan and also stop the murderous Israelis from depriving Palestinians of food and water and medical needs and get out of Palestinian lands then it would make sense to criticize China.Until the US does that,they have no business criticizing China.Keep your nose out of Chinese affairs.The Chinese govt is actually lending a helping hand in countries around the world.The US & NATO are butchering and murdering people.
