I know what you're talking about.I'm fortunate enough to be born in Philippines though(But i move in US 5 years ago)I can still speak tagalog fluently(unlike my little sister..she grew up in US but she's not born here but she can still understand it)Some back there thinks quite lowly of those Filipinos who grew up in US because they think we have been 'americanized' and "not as much of a filipino as them" anymore.

it's an old song...prob'ly from the 80's by a group called VST & Co. titled "Ipagpatawad Mo." But if search the title on Limewire you'll find a laundry list of other artists who have revived the song.

WOW grabe iba talaga ang pinoy singersi hate the fact that when ppl like me who grew up in a different country 4get where they come 4rm. i luv the filipinoes. i also hate it when the people in phillippines thinks that just bcoz ppl like me grew up in a different country that we dont know how to speak tagalog. many of my friends and family that are filos dont speak tagalog but they love their filipino heritage. they'd rather be filipinoes than oder nationalities. they said it themselves.
