He's just using it as a midi controller to trigger sampled notes and riffs. Simple idea but still, a lot of nerd work went into making that happen.

hmm... i guess ur right, i just personally feel threatened by this cuz what if guitar hero controllers overrule normal guitars? thats basically what i was thinking when i commented. but this is cool i must say, sometimes i say stupid stuff.

Lazy? Its probably a lot more work this way!With all the programing and software. A guitar you just plug and play pretty much. Don't get me wrong I've been a bass player for many years now but this is just a different way to make music.
