madonna just didn't have the vocal power the role needs. i would have loved to have seen annie lennox do it.

I love this musical & love the trailer. Loved the brief archival film footage of the real Evita that exposes the real Eva's beauty & charm. Too bad there isn't a recorded DVD of the stage show as it's one of the most original & fascinating stage shows ever.
