I think you're confused about who exactly Finkelstein is. Finkelstein is the jewish guy on the phone who believes that 5-6 million jews did die under the nazis and who had relatives go missing in Europe between 1939-1945. Now that you understand who's who if you still think I'm biased please explain why.

because it affects their country, being that they are geopgraphically in the middle east and not far from israel. because of israel their country has been walled off for years. they are trying to get to the root of the matter and expose whay israel was created in the first place. that is why iran should host a conference on the merits of zionism

i think finkelstein comes out on the bottom of this debate, he would not answer the question as to what happened to those 5-6 million jews. obviously your comment is biased, it is so so so obvious!

This whole debate was terrible. Lady M. R. just isn't qualified to answer direct questions on the holocaust. She can only speak on people's right to debate it. Finkelstein clearly comes out on top in this debate. What was needed was someone who could counter Finkelstein's points. Someone who could say exactly who was invited to the conference, what may have happened to Finkelstein's relatives if they weren't gassed etc. Instead the whole thing gets confused and eventually goes round in circles.

This is not a popularity contest. Lady M. has a nice face, and s prettier than Finkelstein, fine. There is a reason why regarding historical events and revisionist tendencies ought to be refereed by scholars. There simply is no serious dispute on a scholarly level as to the facts of 5-6 million jews being erradicated in a very efficient manner during WW2.

And the winner is... Lady M.! N.F. relies (as each and every "holocaustian" does) on emotional arguments. Never do they provide any evidence... only weak testimonies. Any decent poker player can easily uncover a liar. But aaah get people to cry and you've won the day. The big problem is that people have now run out of tears... and patience!Bravo the Iranians! Bravo Lady M., please carry on!

The good ol' US of A is doing just fine on the issue. I don't agree with banning Holocaust denial because it makes martyrs out of idiots who don't deserve it. The Israelis allow newspapers and conferences which are pro-Palestinian nationalist. Indeed, there are members of the Knesset who are Palestinian nationalist.

As for its being a Allied propaganda ploy, the Roosevelt administration spent most of its energy on this matter denying that there was a systematic attempt by the Axis powers to exterminate the Jews, and sabotaging those few officials who wanted to exam it. I don't know what the Soviets did, and I don't think it matters a whole lot.

Wikipedia documents its claims. I don't have to take their word for it.You think the "Holohoax" also serves the all-powerful Gypsy lobby. Geeeeeeeeeez! That would be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Doesn't even rate a "nice try."

So which countries, in your opinion, deserve praise for championing free speech? The ones who put so-called "Holocaust deniers" on trial, such as Germany, France, Switzerland, and Canada? And why should Iran host a conference on the merits of Zionism? Do the Israelis host conferences on the merits of Palestinian nationalism?
