i can agree in so far as to say i doubt she would have been famous as just a singer. However, by virtue of the fact that the same person is playing and singing, an unrivaled level of voice-piano coordination can be achieved, which i think is what makes it sound (in my opinion) so flawless.

i doubt my opinion will be taken well but i honestly just don't enjoy her voice while her rendition of flying to the moon with a more light hearted jazzy tone was very nice her voice in my opinion is a tad bit horse (and not in that good louis armstrong way) but hey thats just my opinion.. great pianist..average vocalist

I agree wholeheartly. I prefer her singing to 95% of the singers out there today (male or female). I really love her choice of songs.

Now that you mention it ekim53 (freakem53?) McDonald's would be a good choice of work for Diana Krall since she really doesn't have any other talents - especially she has no musical talents! On the other hand if you can con the public into believing you are a talent,then why not make a living off those gullible,tin eared boobs!
