i think you took a video that overlooks my neighborhood in loja..epoca..miss it alot and next year i will drop by for a cuople months also you took a video of my old school.

Hi lojanitababez. Thanks for your comments. I work in Loja with the mission and agree with you. There are lots of great things happening in Loja and there are many Lojanos who are doing well and not everyone is poor. Also many wealthy people drink a lot of alcohol too and we are not condeming this. What is a significant problem however is the excessive use which is a problem all around the world. The purpose for this video is to help people who might like to help see where it has needs.

Loja is like any city of ecuador, there are poor people, people that can afford their families and people with money.Loja has beautiful places to go and people should be promoting that instead of making Loja look as a place where there's only poor and drunk people.i know that that is life for some people but not everyone are in that position, they should show the culture of the people and what they do, for example at uni. and what are their views, which i'm sure they are good!!

most of the people that go overseas it's to work and gain money to maintain their families, but most of them are well educated!! Those people are in jobs that are not related with their studies but however they don't have any choice as they don't speak the language of the country or are illegal. It is not becuase they want it that way, it's because they have to as in ecuador they cannot find a job, or even a good salary!!

Loja is a wonderful city, i'm from there but now i live in london. It true that young people drink alcohol, but it's not because they are poor and their parent went overseas. Young people that have money and go to expensive universities, around the country or world,use alcohol. It's not true that just because they are depressed they opt to drink. every one can feel lonely and depressed but that does not mean that their parents are away!
