The piano player, Richard Manuel, commited suicide in 1986, in a hotel room. The drummer is called Levon Helm and he is still alive

The drummer did not commit suicide. The piano player did.His name is Richard. And he did it in the 80's. The drummer is still around. His name is Levon.
