i agree shes one the most complete artist in today's pop culture, ive been a fan of hers for several years since i lived in colombia as well, she was a great artist back then as well and for the guy that said that she became wat shes now because of her father is bs, she represents Colombia baby and the richness of our culture, our people, which in fact many are from her descent, but they are seen like Colombians to us, we've welcomed many other immigrants who make our culture rich

Shakira is by far the most complete artist in the world. She's sensual, creative, original, sings like no one else, great dancer, writes her own songs, produces her own songs, plays several instruments, extremely intelligent, great business woman and entrepreneur, provides employment to thousands, supports several foundations and has her own, speaks 5 languages (Spanish, Portuguese, English, Arabic and Italian), she's special guest of presidents and philanthropists. What a woman!

She is Colombian and live in colombia till she was around 18 years old. Her mother is Colombian and his father is Lebanese decendent born in USA.
