Considering he was dogfighting since '36 and we didn't engage until '40-'41, I'd say you have a firm grasp of history.

I say: Hartmann had quite a few extra years of fighting for Hitler to build up that score & so did a lot of other German pilots fighting for Hitler. There's a link you can't will away & that's why they never get the nod in shows like this, among other reasons. Capice?
