Antonio Banderas stars in Take The Lead modeled after ballroom dance teacher Pierre Dulaine who brought his program to inner city schools giving kids confidence by teaching them how to waltz, cha cha and do the tango. The sexy Spaniard who has done a bit of dancing himself opposite Chita Rivera in the Broadway musical Nine says he dared to tango in the film. "I have a facility for physicality and physical things in a certain way. I will never be a great dancer but after dancing with Chita Rivera for 228 performances on Broadway I may dare to just play a tango in the movie. I have good friends who are Mexican and who are from South America. I was just stating a fact. Check it out by going to IMdB and searching for Antonio Banderas. A brief biography of him is there. Wouldn't bother me if he were from the South Pole, I'm crazy about him. (Course I love his Hispanic accent.)I've always liked dark-haired, brown eyed men, especially those who can act, sing, and dance! We're on the same page.
