the kids that were wearing the confederate flag in school really got shafted. there's nothing offensive or really any negative connotation that comes from it.(or atleast from my point of view being from texas and all)now if they were wearing swasticas...

Political correctness has reached the level of absurdity. I'm gay... and "make your best gay face" is funny, people need to lighten up. If someone is racist, not letting them wear a confederate flag is not going to change their beliefs and just because they DO wear a confederate flag t-shirt does not mean they are racist.I live in DC and am a Hilary Fag, I am so pissed Obama didn't choose her as a VP, I may not vote this year. p.s. alright i think the rebel flag is kick ass it just shows people your whiteanm your proud to be an it shows you dont like black people who should niggers say that to other niggers so why should we be any different we can wear what ever we want its no changes it they hate white people no matter what if they say they dont there freaken lieing the history of the world yeah times have changed alot but it still remains the same

Alright I hate the rebel flag because it shows that these people dont want to be apart of America or the union.So by wearing the shirt you are saying you don't want to be part of America. ANNNND it is ok not to be proud of your heritage. I am Italian and I am always like "yay Italy, and your...food" However, I dont like that my great great grandfather killed innocent people, many of my great aunts and uncles also were asassians. But we have freedom of speech so they can wear the flag if theywant

I think that is completely overreacting about the rebel flag, I mean what the hell is that? You cant graduate because of a rebel flag? People in my school wear the rebel flag all the time and dont get in trouble. Besides georgia has the rebel flag as their state flag so I dont think it really matters. And no georgia isnt a rascist state its flag was like that long before the civil war.

I don't care for the rebel flag. I has a bad rep with me. But it doesn't make sense to tell a bunch of kids that they can't graduate their class because of a flag. Flags have many different interpretations. Now if they decided to display nooses and/or paint swastikas all over the school, then I would have a problem.
