lots of evidence huh?? LOL name a bachata arist from Central America from lets say the 70's. I don't think you can come up with a name. If you want the origins of bachata I can tell them to you but I tell you this. they were not in the Americas but in the Caribean.

The origins of bachata are not clear, but there is lots of evidence that it originated in central america. But, it def became popular out of DR.
