Singing in the same octave shows how great a range Josh has. What's even more amazing is that he first sang this song at a grammy rehearsal when Bocelli couldn't make it, when Josh was 17 years old.

Both Bocelli and Josh sing this song in two very different styles, which is due in part as madrefiera says to Bocelli being a tenor, and Josh a baritone, but they both sing this song on the same octave.

I agree with you. Bocelli is a fantastic singer and so is Josh. They have different styles which are both God-given. Celine, no question is a true diva.

Josh is a baritone, Bocelli is a tenor so Josh naturally has a lower timbre and warmth to his voice.
