I think he should rather concentrate on bringing some of his ideas closer to the now elected adiministration. With Obama, you have now at least an opening for these ideas to be heard. A government cannot solve all community problems by itself, it must be a positive force in addressing community needs.It's up to the people now to bring the change. With Obama, you have a chance.

thanks for the comment azaquihel.I am sure Ron paul means well but I doubt his ideas will work government does have a role to play..especialy protecting the weak from the strong.You mentioned the military, I think the USA has over 700 bases worldwide.......way too many bases

yes Ron Paul I guess is a Laissez-faire capitalist....no taxes(so no schools,no roads,no fire dept,gee and no money for government like him) its an ignorant idea that in reality doesnt work.Americans have tried Laissez-faire capitalism (reganomics) and now it has failed........and even G W Bush is now nationalizing the banks...so much for Ron Pauls Laissez-faire capitalism .....the 1920's had a sort of Laissez-faire attitude that ended in the Great depression.

Yeah Ron Paul is pro private enterprise which in cause will create another facsist way of ruling and eslaving. Private enterprises could in fact do whatever they wanted and work however they please. Hospitals should be ran by the local government such as the whole county.
