The original Hebrews were black. After some mixing a lighter complexion developed. No shame on that, it's only human nature.Let's take the word, "Semitic" the root word is "Semi", meaning part, or half. Part black, part other. The European jews are the LAST of the converts. The ones in present day Israel converted in the 7th century A.D. They are the new converts.

I understand that Judaism is a religion and that black is a race. Now, Jesus was not white either, he was of the semitic race. Jews are Semitic. Biblically, they traveled from Egypt, but the Hebrews were not Black. They were of light brown Middle Eastern shade. Ancient paintings that the Vatican possesses, and the ancient writings do not say he was dark.

I'm watching President Obama on 60 minutes. It is refreshing and a great feeling to have an intelligent president who is knowledgeable about the questions asked, doesn't try to be cute, and can piece a sentence together that makes sense. All he needs is half the support and patience that Bush was given. He'll do just fine.
