Do any of you recall writing an essay in college about a person you'd want to meet, living or dead & why? I chose Brandon Lee. It was not long after his death; I'm from NC & moved back and forth to the state for years until settling down here. In another college class I was able to use a character vs real live/dead person and I chose The Crow for many of the reasons brought out by Brandon here. This was years+ b/4 this interview came to light. Used many pts he mentions here. It's so sad he died.

I've seen most, if not all of Brandon Lee's films; I must say that out of all of them, this was by far my favorite b/c he could take such liberties w/the character, such risks. I've probably watched the film a few hunded times & yet it always moves me. Even if Brandon had survived the stunt failure, I beleive The Crow movie would still live in infamy w/the occult following. The Crow (Lee's Crow) is still the most popular of any of the others combined. That says a lot.

timbrn: You have obviously never worked in theater or on a movie set when a film is working on a slim budget and a trucated time table. Things are missed; those extra precautions are not always followed. Since this was a first-time occurrance, the movie industry changed everything about the manner it handled weapons, explosives, and even blanks. A system of checks and rechecks by different people went into place to assure this never happened again.

It was short during the filming of THE CROW. He's on the set.

Didn't he die through the making of this film? How did they get this after the release if he was dead?

His father would be very proud of him. Personally Bruce was a great fighter but a okay actor but this role with Brandon Lee and I'm not just saying this cause he's dead was nearly as good possibly equal as Heath Ledgers Joker. But The Dark Knight was a more enjoyable film but this movie was GREAT too the only thing that makes the Dark Knight better to me is that I personally just like batman more and the cast had more great memebers than just ledger. RIP to both Lee's and Ledger.

Isn't it weird that randon lee played a long hair character with make up and was probably his greatest movie, and Heath Ledger played a charcter with long hair and make up and it too was his greatest role.Just realized that connection

No way real rounds can be mistaken for blanks. It's impossible. Intentional for sure

Check my profile for "E! True Hollywood Stories Brandon Lee" - it's a three parter. Lots of people are discussing theories.
