Such a shock to see Richard Sinclair as a plump, balding old man - not that I'm any different. Time is an utter bastard! It has to be banned.

He's now drumming somewhere in heaven with God on bass guitar because his music cannot die.

Is it something about the instrument? It seems as if half my drumming heroes died very, very young (Pip, Al Jackson, Jr., Keith Moon) or had their lives and/or their drumming very severely interrupted by....something (Robert Wyatt, Jim Gordon). Do the drums hit back? Only Elvin Jones lived to a reasonable age and Aynsley Dunbar and Chris Cutler are both alive and kicking (and playing). 5 tragedies out of 8 players is an horrific percentage!

I've been listening Caravan for some years and I didn't know Pip died in 2006 before watching this video. A great musician.R.I.P.

That's really very, very nice... as KeithieW mentioned, it's a great way to send off a good friend. Richard's delivery is superb, and appropriately understated for the occasion. I just wish the 2 pps who joined in on the vocals knew the song and could have totally made this brilliant (both good, but the guy especially) - A very nice choon... Thanks a lot for sharing this rare footageRIP Pip...
