it's better to leave it to the cops... i mean it's like the cops of amsterdam, city of drugs... they must have been trained for that kind of situation... so.... just leave them to do their job no offense

what a shame this guy needed some close buds by to talk to, those cops were only doing there job however the situation could have been approached a little differently to make the man feel more comforted

This poor guy needed someone to try and talk him down befor the police became involved. The police seem to be showing amazeing restraint,no abuse. In the states police come and you are freaking out like that and you are going to be tazed, maced,beat with night sticks then hauled off to psyche ward where you get thorozined and wait for a week for judge to decide wether you are sane or not. All in all the Amsterdam police seem to be treating this guy pretty well.

I'm from Amsterdam, and I know the cops in the city center deal with this kind of stuff multiple times a day. If they knew a better way to handle this particular guy, they wouldn't start a wrestling match with him. No offense, but they don't need the advice of a tourist.
