Tom Dunning & Your Boyfriends - Kate Bush "Not This Time"

Back in 1998, Thomas Dunning brought together a great group of Chicago musicians and singers to cover Kate Bush songs on the album "I Wanna Be Kate". The project was inspired by his favorite Kate song "Not This Time", and wishing that one of his favorite Chicago area musicians would cover it. So he decided to make it happen.

His singing is more polished on the CD -- it's one of my favorite tracks. But the video version here gives you a chance to see his passion for this excellent song -- and his great hair too :)

This was a great night, and the conclusion of the whole project.

I have met Tom a few times, and he is a sweetheart of a guy. But a great singer? No. But you can tell he sings it with love. :)

He seems to be having a great time in Ireland. There's a video somewhere on YouTube of him being interviewed in Irish TV about violence in Ireland vs. the US.
