You missed my point. I said that whether people are homosexual or not doesn't decide if they are sent to Heaven or not. If one was to be sent to Hell for a single sin, then not one person would ever make it to Heaven, as we are all born with Sin.As for being burned, should evil deeds go unpunished? Sin is sin, and a homosexual deserves to go to Hell just as much as one who rapes children, as both have defied God. However, Jesus gives both of these people a chance to be redeemed through him.

he only died for a short while though. An dthe pin of being crucified, albeit terrble, is probably les than that of beign burned alive, and certainly nothing in comparason to being burned forever. 'Whether we choose to be homosexual ' are really sure its a choice? And isn't your god being a little crazy in casting such importance on who a person sleeps with? To burn anyone is bad enough but to do it for fllingn in love with a man rather than a woman seems insane.

Jesus still felt the pain as any mortal man would. Consider dying on a cross, suffering pain that no other had, in order to save the life of an ant. The son of GOD died for us to be saved, when we, as sinners, had no right to the kingdom of heaven. We are all born as sinners. Whether we choose to be homosexual or not, we are all condemned to be sent to Hell from birth.People aren't sent to Hell because they choose to be homosexual. They are sent to Hell because they reject God.

Jesus was crucified but he knew he was going to go to heaven afterwards so it wasn't really that terrible was it? Certainly not like the suffering of someone burning in hell for example, perhaps for the terrible sin of being homosexual. That's real suffering eh? Your merciful god at work. x1oozillax - perhaps the sarcasm was out of order but the point was that millions have died in the name of your god and for you to claim persecution because someone is writing on youtube videos is silly.

mycatistigger, what comes of comparing sacrifices?Between being attacked on youtube, or being beheaded for our faith, both are minuscule compared to the suffering our Lord endured on the cross

i see that i made the mistake of assuming that i was speaking to an open-minded individual who is willing to converse about controversial topics such as religion without lacing sarcasm into their comments. if questioning my beliefs were all that you wer aiming for, i believe that it could have been done with more respect. you blatantly insulted my beliefs and therefore i was obligated to defend it. on what grounds do you come here, commenting on a christian song trying to disprove the bible?

i never pressed my beliefs on you. why do you press your beliefs on me? in what way are you relevant to the witch burnings? these women were not persecuted for their faith or even lack-thereof. they were killed based on silly and illegitimate proofs. how that is my fault is beyond me, because much like the red scare, the fear of witches drove people to commit irrational acts during the time period.

When someone argues 'God exists' as if belief makes it a fact I state 'no he's made up' .' If they state 'I believe god exists' I'll say 'I bleieve he doens't.'As for the burning statement "In Europe, women were persecuted as witches for nearly four hundred years, burned at the stake, perhaps as many as nine million of them...."As they were being burned alive many of them cried 'thank goodness we aren't suffering the way x1oozillax is! Imagine if people wrote on youtube about us!'
x1oozillax (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
have we not suffered also? many followers of Christ died for their beliefs. paul the apostle beheaded and peter the disciple crucified upside-down. exactly to which account are you referring to when you say "burning people like me at the stake". what exactly are people like you?
x1oozillax (December 31, 1969 at 5:59 pm)
if in fact hillsong is doing what you say, you are right in criticizing them, but why criticize my God? if questioning by beliefs was the only thing you did, i would not feel "attacked" as you say. but you have called my God "made up" and insulted my beliefs. you have done more than "questioned" my beliefs. Also, hell was made for satan, whose sin was self-contrived. it was never meant for man. the book of revelations reveals this. man chooses hell when he rejects God, for man is free to fall.
