They were the same f-15's that they use today dude. High tech. They do not have a whole lot of f-22's available yet, and the bugs have not been totally worked out. No kidding the f-22 is superrior with it's stealth. However, stealth is not immortal and will be defeated soon enough. IT better be, because Russia and China will have their own stealth fighters within the next 10 years.

Yeah, they brought F-15C's(a 30 year old plane) without new radars against the newest Flankers. Why is that a surprising loss? F-22's, it replacement, constantly smoke them at Red Flag anyway.

Wow! Those tight maneuvers could only be possible with thrust vectoring. I guess it would depend on the pilot's ability to test the structural limit of this awesome bird.
