Now that I look at him closely, Baron Ricks distinctively reminds me of Nelo Angelo. Probably because of the downward-curved horns.

Yea,I had this video game for my Sega Master System when I was 11years old. The Anime is great. I just wish that there were more clearer episodes in english. I already own Burning night, and episodes 1-4. Burning night is subtitled. Ep.1-4 are in english. I need more!

There was one episode where they had to enter a "silo" and as you could probably guess, it ended up being spelled "siro" on the computer monitor that was showing them their mission.

Well, it's because in japanese most of the english words are katakanized, so don't worry, it's just a matter of pronunciation.
