I would really like to know what part of the Dominican Republic you saw this so called style because I frequently travel there and I have never seen anyone dance this way exept for non Dominicans. lol. Sorry man I just really don't belever your story. like I said before, this is a salsa instructor, NON Dominican thinking he can dance bachata.

when I was in the Dominican Republic I learned many forms of Bachata.. this was one of them.. so it all depends on the region/style the bachata you learned came from.. I tried dancing with a girl from Seattle who learned from a cuban, it was akward cause the style was different..

I went to your site and saw your video, I don't mean any disrespect to you but I can tell you are just a begginer and have been learnig bachata fromo the wrong people. on the other hand all of the other dances on your channel were well performed but the bachata one was really no good at all. You are right, there is no one style, but only the dominican styles are genuine. All others are just dancing bachata without knowing its backround or foundation. Something you don't see here or in yours.

Everybody's complaining about their style & how it's not the "real" bachata. Dance is to feel the music with your partner - this is how they're feeling it - it's sensual. When we dance bachata we grind (don't do a lot of footwork - we've got a short clip of a bachata on our site)but every dance is interpreted differently by whoever does it. There is no one style!
