I would say that the arbiter of overreaction is world opinion! The majority of free thinkers think it was a complete overwhelming all encompassing injustice...just those involved try to justify it as otherwise. Don't worry though, Obama sounds like he's going to do like Kennedy in the Bay of Pigs and pull us out of there and let Iraq come under control of another dictator, probably worse than Sadam, and send the troops on another wild goose chase in Afghanistan chasing a ghost.
