There is actually many U.S. military videos on youtube where you clearly see a guy "standing" in the middle of the street and beeing shoot many time (body and head) with a machine gun.

I'm maybe not an expert, but even if it looks like a real gun with recoil and smoke coming out of the gun ( lot of smoke coming out of the chamber at the third shoot, typical from a blank gun). I do believe it's a fake just because the editing of this video shows clearly the guy checking the mailbox, CUT , and then a perfect angle where his jacket is open and grab is gun easy, CUT , and then a side view of the shooting scene. And i also noticed the grip of the gun when the man "bend over", soo..
