About 70 km/h flat out, with a long road. In reality, about 50-55 km/h. Which is fine for the urban area where the car is used.

If you don't use the clutch anymore then how are you shifting, since it's a manual transmission?

Planes? Heh dood, get real. Best thing that's going to happen to planes is bio fuels. Which is about to be tested in NZ.

I have a citroen that I haven't pulled the tranny out of to fix the clutch, but I'm too eager to drive it, so I shift the same way, by matching revs. It takes practice, but once you get used to it, you can feel where it "wants" to shift. Very very cool job. Bravo!
