It serves the same basic function as DualShock or the Rumble Pak. It gives an exaggerated sense of the environment which helps to better immerse you in the video game world. Just because it isn't totally in line with reality doesn't mean it can't heighten the experience. Besides, since when have games been about realism? A contraption like this makes it FEEL like you're actually there, and realism be damned, that's all that should matter.

ah quit hatin, you know that you get a sensation of force that pulls you to one side when you make a sharp turn.And plus if someone came up to you with this thing and said jump in you know you'd get in there in a heart beat. At least I would :D

I don't understand why you need this for a driving simulator.My car doesn't move around like that when I drive :-/There's no point having a simulator that just moves for the sake of it...

Hahaha! No, I have a dedicated play room for this equpment. Not visible to visitors at all except they wish to! The play room has just this simulator and my computers in it!
