Like many mobile browsers, the speed and consistent format delivery is aided by server software. So, it's not available for simple consumer installation. However, I think it would be a nice addition to the IDS services. We've had a lot of requests for the software from Iliad owners. If anyone is interested, encourage Irex to adopt it.

well it will work fine, don't worry. Only thing is that it's expected that a larger screen size ebook reader will be out in a few months (october) and probaly irex might have something in store in terms of a v. 3 iliad. But you'll already have yours and put it to good use.

I sure hope you are right! I just ordered the Iliad Book Edition. So far, I have downloaded over 300 eBooks in anticipation of getting it. BTW, I also got them all for free! If this works, it has already paid for itself as opposed to buying paper books. That will be etter environmentally, too.

well, I wouldn't say many, but form some it is. I don't consider it this expensive wrt what it offers.

iliad hands down for pdf, next to impossible in the sony unless it's a very small page. Web browsing is pleasant but very rudimentary simple. Iliad with wi fi at 600 euros, without (book edition) 500. Go to mobile read . com to find out more.

It's ALREADY available! Search for iLiad, Cybook Gen3, Kindle or Sony PRS-505
