I agree with Makaihime and NeoHanyou99. Religion and old legends and historical events are all parodied for stories and entertainment. I think it's fine so long as we respect that it's just a parody and nothing more and we remember it's not 100% accurate to the original. I respect that the Bible didn't say nuns should have guns and banish devils- I'd be insane if I thought they did ^^; It's not the religion has been twisted, it's just been spiced up for a story ^___^

Of course its inaccurate, but the creater never said that everything in the anime was. It came from his creativity. He just use it as a bases. Do you know how many stories, anime, mangas, drama have the truth twisted for entertainment purposes?

That makes sense but twisting religion makes great stories because most religion is soooo screwy.....Making a great story out of a great story....no offense.
