When I hear this, I can always picture the scene when they are in the hospital with the cat bus in the tree! This song fits that scene perfectly!

go for it. I was an excellent flute player as a child and I gave up on it, and now I want to play again.

I love Totoro. I love the original Japanese and the 1993 Fox versions. This composer is definitely underrated

i think all of joe hisashi's stuff is amazing. i wish i could get the sheet music and mess around with it on my violin, although i wouldnt be near as good. ive tryed figuring out the notes in his songs, but im still working on vabrato so it dosent sound near as good. =\ but anyway, i loveeeeee him and studio ghibli!

a light and happy song, and the music for it is wonderfully done. Totoro is a fabulous, adorable, adorably fabulous, and fabulously adorable movie!!
