The conflict between Russia and Georgia over the breakaway region of South Ossetia has left thousands of people dead or displaced.In an interview with Al Jazeera, Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia's president, said he had been left with no choice but to take on the the Russian army.

No no no, he is absolutely right. Georgia is not here a wolf and russia a lamb. It is ridiculous the comments here. Tskhinvali is an old georgian town. Russians have nothing to search there, nor in Abkhazia. It is old georgian territory. Georgia did not start war. Russia leads war against georgia since already 20 years. I am glad we stopped the invasion. Russians do not protect ossetians. They need our territory! It is geopolitical game. Nothing more!
