Yeah, I would protect my love if someone do such things with her... But... If you are think, Shuji is a normal and simple guy, he can't do nothing... If I was Shuji I run out of the world with Chise and hide somewhere far away from there...

Well im not sure if its much different to the anime but I hate that they did that to Chise if I was Shuji I would be at war with the bastards who did it to her

You are right. This anime shows the terrible war and that motivated me to make a small novel, what is telling from a guy who goes to become a soldier. ^^ It's a begginer story, not important. I whatched the Saikano first at here, from an AMV. I must read the manga too.

Agreed I read the manga and thought it was awesome its just so good!! I can't believe how good it is I picked it at random and Im so glad I did I thought the ending was awesome because they can finally be together without anyone getting in thier way..... In the manga everything seemed so real aswell because it shows what war is really like and how stupid it is but all the way through I was always thinking why did they have to make Chise into that?? Why her I mean they could have picked sum1 else
