Sure, I agree...now. If Cradle to Cradle design ever kicks in then consumerism will be wholly positive. Technology is also key to this process.

I doubt this man has bothered to read the Wealth of Nations in its entirety. Adam Smith did not "invent" modern capitalism, Hell, he didn't even devise an economic model. Smith's genius lay in his observational abilities, he SUMMARIZED a system which was functioning during his lifetime.With that and a few other complaints aside, this is still a rather interesting documentary.
