bop was an insatiable monster. A high art. Thank goodness it was never really co-opted. It's still there, but the times are'nt. You had to be able to throw you're self out with the bathwater. I'm thankful I lived in those times. Thanks to bobjazz11 for this footage. Celebrate!

this footage makes me know for sure that we are not all robots in some pre-programmed plan. Be-Bop is the most beautiful and difficult of the Jazz. Maybe it is not Jazz at all. Maybe someday it'll be classified as a music unto itself.The funny moments in this footage make my heart do a somersault.Jackie went on to be one of the greatest teachers ever. He lived the life of ten men.Sorry to lay it on heavy. I can't help the way I feel.
