I've always marveled at the practice of restoring ruins but still keeping them in a state of ruin for tourism purposes.

They are not spaniards, spaniards would never say that, infact they look down on most people that aren't "spaniard enough" what you are think of is the mixed people "latinos" or "mestizos" but a spaniard would NEVER say they are anything else but spaniards.

Well as for Palin- I'm sure he was more than appreciative of Peruvian culture or he would'nt have bothered going there and narrating this documentary.

yes but there are lots of spaniards who say im mexican, peruvian, bolivian, argentinians and os onbut its not that hard to tell the diference
