M16 Blows up in Kids Face


 
   

we were shooting guns at the local range, and my friend was firing the M16 and it kept jamming, but we thought he cleared it, eventually we think two bullets were left in the tube, and when the bullet fired, it exploded... one funny thing to watch is after the gun explodes, my friend checks his face to make sure his features are still all present.... we joke about it now, but at the time, it was scary

AK 47's traditionally have a more powerful round, but the problem is there is no tumble affect in the target when you hit. 5.56 is a great round in being that it begins to tumble roughly 5-8 centimeters into the body of a target causing larger cavity damage. 7.62X39 tends to go right through leaving a smaller wound. The damage on this video is not a weapons malfunction. It's the wrong ammunition. you can tell by the issues he was having chambering.

also what i dont understand even if you would smash the M16 it would still work and not cause this explosion in jaming the M16 was made for Warfares arround the world , either the round was defect or there was something Wrong with the rifle, also the trainer should be watching at all times

the (Ak 47)has more power because its heavier round of weight,and Size also the 7.62x39 the 7.62x39 would go farther and then the 5.56mmx45 would maybe be the same distance since its has x45 but the hevier the round the farther it would go, the 7.62mm gots more psi then the 5.56 because the 5.56mm is a (.223cal) but the 5.56mm is Military Round same goes for 7.62mm you should say that the .223 has 78,500 psi while the .308 gots 62,000 psi and thats with x51 its tricky !
