(Aug. 4)Emergency crews are getting into place as Tropical Storm Edouard picks up steam in the Gulf of Mexico.The storm is churning just south of Louisiana and is expected to make landfall somewhere in Texas or southwest Louisiana tomorrow morning.Edouard is feeding off the warm Gulf waters and could reach hurricane strength before it hits.Right now, its top sustained winds are around 50 miles an hour, but they could reach 75 or more by tomorrow.This would be the second storm to hit Texas this season, even as many residents in the state's southern tip are still dealing with the effects of Hurricane Dolly.Residents in Texas and southwestern Louisiana are being urged to take precaution and emergency teams in both states have been activated.So far no evacuations have been ordered. ___ ___, The Associated Press.

That is funny, reality check, because I AM ASIAN.I do not see people by their COLOR.Lazy, unproductive people are of all colors, and good people are of all colors. You are still young. I'm happy for you...On the other hand, the lazy people (not just Black people I'm talking about, there were Asians, Whites, Hispanics) who did the same thing. They just sat and complained about the government not doing anything to help them. This storm was a shock to everyone, no one knew how devastating it was going to be when the levees broke.

Dont feel sympathy for me. I dont need it. My life is great. Oh but please dont act as though you all are some virgins. Just because you or your girlfriend(whatever you are)didnt get pregnant doesnt mean you werent having sex. I got pregnant ok. I moved on and did what i had to do. Worked, still went to school. No food stamps, no welfare just me and my husband. Oh and they didnt have free transportation until the storm was over. but i didnt need that either. i have a car.

im not bitching bout anything. I've grauated from school. But im going back to get my masters in business. But the fact of the matter is any well deserving citizen should have recieved help before convicts who didnt even get out til aftet the storm. And as for my life. Its great, thanks. Happily married to the father of my child. I dont NEED the government. Yet when I did. they rather give help to those who chose to distroy society.

so are you apologizing to the Asian for offending her/him. But not to the Black ppl you called "negroids". I have all kinds of friends, From all nationalities. Yet i have to face the fact that race is apart of all the cultures. Yet it amazes me how ppl thinks it ok to hate one race and love all others. What makes that one race so bad? so many ppl love so many parts of blacks culture, music, food, clothes yet hate the ppl who created it. Weird...and ignorant.
