Beovizija 2006 in Belgrade
12 contestants from Serbia and 12 from Montenegro took part in a join national selection, Evropesma 2006. The Serbian favourite, Flamingos feat. Luis, received four times the maximum points from the Serbian jury, but didn't receive any points from the Montenegrin voters, while the Serbian jury awarded No Name with points. The Montenegrin jury backed No Name, that won under the same circumstances as last year, and took victory with only 4 points more than the runners-up.As soon as the juries gave their votes and it appeared No Name was the winner, the audience left the venue immediately, while some stayed inside to throw bottles on the stage. Suprisingly, No Name left right away, while the Serbian favourites, Flamingos featuring Luis, gave a reprise of their song, Ludi letnji ples. No Name received 8 points from the televoters, the Flamingos featuring Luis 12.

Flamingosi is a band of two guys. One is serbian, the second one is montenigrin. It was their ticket for ESC, as they thought having a mixed band on ESC would cross over the political isues in Serbia and Montenegro. But, obviously, it didn't.The montenigrin jury really acted unprofessional and in favour of one partitcular band.No Name didn't win montenigrin semi-final, so the set-up at Beovizija was even more obvious.Ofcourse, saying Booo and throwing bottles is not the answer.

Nah,forget all about it. The reason Lordi won and got the most points ever in total in the history of the contest is because lots and lots of metalheads all over europe hate the Eurovision with a passion and voted just to see a metal song win.

Yikes, that's the worst case of admittance of defeat that I've ever seen. I don't know anything about the escalating in that heat or the accusations; all I know is that I consider it low to throw bottles onto the stage. And I thought the Belgian audience in '83 were bad. Marko Prentić looked particularly upset.

I guess one needed to be there to know. I like Flamengos far better myself, but I still consider it not very sportsmanlike to boo like that. Apparently people were upset that Flamengos (a Serbian group) didn't get any points from Montenegro, while No Name (Montenegrin) got points from both Serbia and Montenegro. I don't know.

No Name did win, but the audience were furious and things escalated so much that No Name left. Flamingos did a reprise of their song as there needed to be a reprise. What a final!

Well, they would have given Lordi quite a bit of competition.

both flamingosi and no name are talented and they both should be on esc 2006, i really miss none of them were on esc 2006 due to silly "politics"... :(
