IF if helps, he had cancer thats how he died and I also beleive this song was about his wife who also died of cancer.He was in class all his own I remember I saw this video then I GOT THE SINGLE THEN THE WHOLE ALBUM.should have got it in the beginning AMAZING.

I exacvtly recall that day in 1991 when I entered my favorite record shop Music Mania in Ghent Belgium and heard this ...I was mesmerized , not knowing that he would spend lots of time here , but anyway , great loss , this song still gives me goosebums
