ANREWMUZAK---The song " SELF CONTROL" was written by UMBERTO TOZZI and GIANCARLO BIGAZZI in 1983.The original song of RAF is beautiful.

Spot on. It was from 1984 and the first single from the album of the same name. The version here has a longer introduction to the single released. Agree with everything you say about the 80's. There will never be anything like it again. How sad!

This is a very cool 80's song. To me, an episode of Knight Rider comes to mind, which is also totally 80's. One of the things I love about the 80's is that the most coolest songs that were released during that time were either in great 80's movies or cool 80's tv shows. It's too bad music like this doesn't exist now along with the great 80's tv shows. I'm guessing that this song was released in 1984, right?
