it is. since most popular guns aren't originally made in America, getting the parent country's model of it would just about always end up in it acting better.

McCain would possibly lift the ban but doubtful it is there to help out the domestic Gun manufactures

yeah, I wouldn't hold my breath eitherif it has to do with crime rate, well, we have video games - and the crime rate has dropped ever since they've begun making violent ones

there is very little chance of thatbeings he will most likely put a restriction back on magazine capacity

Damn. Didn't know about that law. That sucks. Maybe Obama will legalize gun imports...

overseas shipping is actually fairly expensive not to bad but that is not the thing you should be worrying about in shipping a gun to the USbeings it is a military style assualt riffle it will be cover by the "Bush administration Gun Import Ban" which basically makes it illegal to import from "any" country a military assault riffle even if it is a semi auto so your AK-47 will hit Customs and you will be stuck with a bill and no Gun

No - it'll cost as much as one straight from Russia, since it's not even outlawed in any country, it's just people are ignorant enough to believe the weapon symbolizes terrorism so they don't bother buying from overseas.Overseas shipping never costs a whole damn lot.

its very hard to find a Russian AK-47 for under $1000 and if you do I can tell you there will almost always be something wrong with it and as for buying a Russian one from another country and importing it will cost even more than finding one that is already in the US you can easily find say a Romanian one for around $400-$600 which is one of the better ones as far as non Russians go

You can. It's not expensive to buy one from inside the states, either. It's just as much as a regular weapon. And you can import them - if not from Russia, from another country, and buy a Russian version.

It's like a regular bullet. Except it usually causes longterm damage.
