if you crank everything up to the maximum....especially the master volume you can hear a little bit of each channel fainlty, but you should not crank it to the max anyway so its not much of a problem.

they might have a little amplification, like turntables do...but those are only to get the signal just to youre mixer...phono input is a weaker signal, and other equipment with a high strength (like cd players) should not be plugged into the phono in, but line in, the phono is only really for turntables.

Do Phono inputs have preamps for extra amplification? I once pluged a cd onto a phono input and it was very distorted> this was ac a few years ago when I was just learning about DJ equipment. I do run sound for my church. Nice Videopeace.

this has no sampler, it is a good mixer because it has many channels to mess with, and its average quality so its pretty good for beginners

I used to have a Behringer that had a sampler on it. Is it correct that the DJX700 has no sampler? Also, what do you think of this model for beginners? Thanks.
