You call this music "basic" yet it's received more publicity in the past 5 minutes than every band you've ever been in for the past 30 years. You call this music "basic" yet what does it say about your music, nothing except that your music must be less than basic at best. You make pretentious insults and believe your cul-de-sac of a musical career spanning 30 wasted years gives you grounds to criticise a song and other people's opinions. Your view is worthless here. I just love all the criticism that people post on youtube - you know, who's better, who influenced who, why this or that is a pile of shit, etc. But let's face it, NONE of us have produced even the smallest pile of rancid puke compared to the guys featured in this or other videos (even the blandest pop crap). So when you've actually done something maybe you have to right to slate someone else's work. Just my little gripe...

Varied musical knowledge? you stated that it wasn't technical, I must've forgot that this video was filmed during Weller's dip into guitar virtuoso. I'm a regularly performing musician as well thank you very much, and I don't appreciate the insinuation that I do drugs. Don't project you own flaws onto other people.
