The first time I heard this song, I felt utter rapture when I heard Cheryl Lynn's heavenly voice. Actually, I was, at that time about 13 years old and was attending a "Solos and Ensemble" competition for band, competing with other band members in South Texas for an All-South Texas junior high band. In any case, what made this song the more blissful and memorable is that I was listening to this song, emanating from this gorgeous young girl's portable radio, as she and I eyed each other.
