This is a bad ass song! And as for all of you pricks who have bad shit to say about hippies, you are totaly fucking morons! They were all about peace and love, and hell they even got high and enjoyed life... sorry they weren't out killing innocent people and starting fights over stupid fucking shit, like the government (past and present)... you guys just need to grow up and let the good memories last because that's all we have left!

'Wear some flowers in your hair'? More like 'Bring a condom for your arse' if you're headed there.

One of the great classics, for me anyway. Takes me right back to the 60's every time. I was only 8 years old. I remember having a psychedelic poster with a dancing Snoopy from Charlie Brown, and 'Feelin' Groovy' in curvy letters at the bottom. I always wanted one of those big black metal peace signs on a chain. And to this day, there's a big ol' round tin tub in the shed with a faded peace sign I'd painted on it back then. I was too young to understand, I just thought it was groovy, man!

dont worry scospreyv22 i got yer back. you definitely nailed it. my parents are from the "hippie" generation and they say the same thing you said. yes STFU you might think its offensive but its true and just because your mom was a part of it doesnt mean it didnt happen. lots of good music did come from this era but you just have to take it for what it is.
