So good so good. You can't compare this to the Poco version cause the song is performed in whole different way and scale in this very very cool JJ Cale version

On this version I agree, but J.J.'s studio version is better than the one you speak of and this one too. Just my opinion though.

The song is so simple, its only 4 chords on the guitar. Yet it's presented with such ease and elegance that it's damn near hypnotic. And then there are the lyrics. The feeling of longing is as universal as it gets. We've all been there but to often we let our day to day get it in the way. We are all very fortunate that JJ Cale captures and channels that kind of emotion for us all. A shot of JJ's Magnolia helps to heal the sprite if only for a little while.
