Dude why would he want to preserve the white English they invaded us, they took our land, they mistreated us,and even in the modern 20th century they did not free us until they got too tired of dealing with us. Seems like he is a bit of traitor instead of a hero.

gandhi's truth is coming out today in big way. Not all he said or preached was wrong, but not everything was truth or good either. He turned Gita upside down when he led people to be victims in a bloodbath. He emasculated the Hindus by his misplaced emphasis on ahimsa, & negated the need for stressing that self defence & self preservation is not Himsa, that is Ahimsa too

I agree..if we did this in 18th century itself, we could have become a developed country long back...Gandhi's 'Akimsai' never work out..if we gave back nicely atleast in 1930-1940..we would have got freedom so early...
