Adam beyer, chris liebing, sven vath, richie hawtin, dave clark, umek e.t.c they play techno.listen to them and then tell me if you like techno. techno is a musical term and it is a specific kind of music I don't want to be mean but many people listen to electronic beat and they call it techno!

Don't be a musical snob. Club music, house, techno, electronic, dance, whatever you want to call it. "Techno" fits far better than, say, classical. That's the idea.
